Set a Timer

Swipe up and down to scroll to the time you wish to set (in minutes) and tap on the screen anywhere to start the timer.

Pause a Timer

Tap anywhere on the screen while a timer is running to Pause the timer. Tap again to restart it.

Start a Stopwatch

Scroll down past 1 to the + symbol and tap anywhere on the screen to begin a stopwatch. Tap anywhere while the stopwatch runs to pause the stopwatch. Tap again to restart the stopwatch or scroll away to clear it.

Set Alarm Volume

You can adjust the alarm volume in the Timer menu. Tap the menu button in the top right and increase the "Alarm Volume" slider to make the alarm louder.

Troubleshooting

Can I close the app while a timer is running?

Yes. Timer will run in the background and the alarm will ring and you may receive a notification once time expires.

Will the alarm play if a device is in silent mode?

Yes. Timer will play an audible alarm even when a device is in Silent mode.

The timer alarm didn’t ring.

In some cases, the OS will silence an alarm or cancel a running timer.

• If your phone is in Silent/Do Not Disturb mode and the Timer app is terminated, no alarm will be played, however you will receive a notification.
